1 Point for an award in a Nationally recognised Exhibition that calls for entries nationwide
INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITIONS
2 Points for a recognised International Award with a Pastel Painting
or any pastel society that meets the criteria. The Artist Magazine Annual Art Exhibition.
One pastel painting can only gain points twice at International level ( a maximum of 6 point )
1 Point for acceptance/finalist into a recognised International Exhibition
or any pastel society that meets the criteria The Artist Magazine Annual Art Exhibition.
- This includes 1st, 2nd, or 3rd overall
For example: Adams Portraiture Award, Tasman National Art Awards
- ‘Publication’ refers to an article about the artist, and his or her pastel work
- Includes Online or printed
- Aotearoa Artist Magazine, Pastel Journal ( Pastel 100 article )
- Includes Strokes of Genius published book as this is a juried exhibition against all mediums.
Not included: - A photograph from a local exhibition which may have an image of your work
- Having an image of your artwork published in a reputable magazine which was accepted into an exhibition which had already gained you a point. e.g. Pastel 100 Honourable Mention
- Includes Online or printed

2 Points for a recognised International Award with a Pastel Painting
- Includes 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Merit
- Includes Juried Online exhibitions of good standing, with 500 entries or more and recognised Jurors/judges
