Regional Groups
Regional Groups have been established throughout New Zealand to encourage new members to join PANZ and to create opportunities for members to get together for local activities, such as exhibitions/shows, workshops, demonstrations and to generally enjoy the company of other pastelists in your local area. ( See details below for days and times)
Each region has a representative who is the first point of contact for members who have any queries, suggestions or problems. If they are unable to help they will in turn contact the committee member responsible for regional representation.

WHANGAREI PASTEL GROUP - Special Pastel Paint Together Day
Inviting all PANZ members and anyone else who is interested in painting in the pastel medium to a day event
the details of which follow:

COST : No Charge - Koha welcome
Tea and Coffee provided please bring your own lunch
A limited amount of easels are available and it will pay to bring your own supplies although we will have a
small selection to use for anyone who just wants to try out the medium.
The Studio at Reyburn House is quite light and airy and there is a carpark next door. Cafes are a short walk
away at the Town Basin.

NELSON & BAYS REGION WHEN: Every Tuesday TIME: 9:00 till 12:00 WHERE: Mapua Community Hall in the Bill Marris room, 72 Aranui Road, Mapua COST: $7 to cover room hire and morning tee ($5 if you pay for a half year) Everyone very welcome. Our numbers average ten. We pastel paint. We have paper and pastels available for visitors and beginners and books to borrow. We do critiques for those wanting them. AUCKLAND REGION: PAINT TOGETHER DATES WHEN: 9 AUG 2025 8 NOV 2025 TIME 9.30am - 3pm (drop in or stay the whole time) WHERE @ the Warner’s studio garage, 35 Walton Street, Red Beach COST: $10 pp Please bring an easel if you have one & it’s portable. If not you’ll at least need your own drawing board. Lots of street parking. There’s no cafe next door (sorry) but we do have a coffee machine, a bakery just up the road and the beach at the end of the street.
