Kiwi Artist
I am a figurative and landscape artist based in the Far North producing work in both oils and soft pastels.
I studied Art and Design full time at Auckland Technical Institute, then took up a scholarship at Auckland Society of Arts majoring in painting.
I have won awards in national and international art competitions and most recently was winner of the 2023 National Exhibition for Pastel Artists of New Zealand.
My aim is to create beautiful reminders to prioritise the moments in the everyday that give the lift we need to nourish our spirits. Moments of awe in the landscape, moments of connection, special quiet moments of reflection and moments celebrating big leaps of faith - all points to remember and treasure.
I’ve learnt that visual art in my environment is powerful and inspiring and I want others to have that experience. I enjoy that people can smile and be inspired by visual notes from me in their surroundings.
Creating art helps me process my thoughts, sharing it and connecting with others is the real reward.
