I live in Stanmore Bay, 30 minutes north of Auckland, for some of the Summer and some of the Winter. I am also lucky enough to live in Cromwell, Central Otago for some of the Summer and some of the Winter.
I work for a Project Manager, obtaining Council sign off for the Warehouse Group stores around New Zealand.
I started painting in 2019 – large acrylic florals. Since I was located so close to Julie Greig I thought that I had better get along to learn as much as I could about pastels too. Her weekend workshops in Ranfurly are fun and informative and the pastels ‘got a grip’. I am also lucky enough to live close to where Julie & Michael Freeman run workshops in Orewa. I’ve attended online and/or live workshops with Lyn Diefenbach, Stephie Clarke, and Laura Pollock. …. So much to learn!
The PANZ group are very inspiring and generous with their knowledge and help.
I have been a PANZ member since 2020 and joined the committee in 2023.
