I emigrating to New Zealand in 1969 and have lived in many places in North Island. In 2004 we moved to Geraldine and traveling around the southern lakes I was so reminded of Cumbria, England where I grew up. In Geraldine I met Wayne Patrick, a local artist, who introduced me to pastels and P.A.N.Z. I now paint in oils and pastels, and have won awards both locally and nationally for portraits. I have branched out in subject matter to landscapes and flowers.
