5.00pm	PANZ Executive Committee Meeting	Committee meeting (members of the Executive only).
6.00 – 6.30pm	Registration and Social Time	Meet and mingle at Estuary Arts Centre, collect your name tag and settle in for the opening night.

9.30 – 10.00am	Artist Talk – Bernadette Ballantyne Inspiration and Possibilities	Bernadette has a thriving art business, a recognised style and has recently launched an online pastel course.
10.00 – 10.30am	Morning Tea and Pastel Market	Refreshments and browsing time at the Pastel Market.
10.30am – 12.30pm	Artist Demonstration – Susan Kuznitsky Dappled Light and People: Simplifying Complex Scenes	Susan joins us as our featured guest artist. She will be sharing underpainting techniques combined with pastel sticks and pencils to simplify complexity and create the illusion of detail.
12.30 – 2.00pm	Lunch and Pastel Market	Lunch at local cafés or BYO, with time to continue browsing the Pastel Market.
2.00 – 2.30pm	Artist Talk – Michael and Julie Freeman Hyperrealism Techniques	NZ Master Pastelists Michael and Julie Freeman share some of their process and techniques.
2.30 – 3.00pm	Artist Talk and Demo – Lynn Fuller Sensational Still Life	Learn how to create and photograph an engaging still life arrangement.
3.00 – 3.30pm	Afternoon Tea and Pastel Market	Afternoon refreshments and final browsing opportunity for the day.
3.30 – 4.00pm	Artist Talk and Demo Defective Perspective	Improve the foundations of your paintings by getting the drawing right. Tips on perspective to help you draw better from photos and en plein air.
4.00 – 4.30pm	Artist Demonstration – Nicola Warner Courageous Colour	Nicola shares practical ways to be more adventurous with colour. Be inspired by paintings you love, make local colours more exciting, or go a little wild while staying in control.
6.00pm	Convention Dinner	Dinner at Red Beach Surf Club, beachfront, Ngapara Street, Red Beach.

10.30 – 11.00am	Morning Tea and Pastel Market	Morning refreshments and Pastel Market browsing.
11.00 – 12.00pm	AGM and Special Presentations	PANZ Annual General Meeting, special presentations, raffle draw and Convention 2027 announcement.
12.00 – 1.30pm	Lunch and Pastel Market	Lunch break and final chance to browse the Pastel Market.
1.30 – 2.30pm	Social Media Spotlight and Artist Panel	Learn more about sharing your art and connecting with audiences through social media. Panel discussion on building a portfolio, self-critique and artistic originality.
2.30 – 2.45pm	Afternoon Tea	Final refreshment break before the closing sessions.
2.45 – 4.15pm	Paint-Around and Art Auction	Participatory paint-around session followed by an art auction and closing remarks for the convention.
