We’re delighted to invite you to the Pastel Artists of New Zealand National Convention 2026, being held in the beautiful seaside town of Orewa, just north of Auckland.
This year’s featured guest artist is Susan Kuznitsky (R) from the USA – an award-winning Master Pastelist and lifelong Lord of the Rings fan. Susan is internationally known for her brilliant colour, emotional realism, and mastery of light.
The 2026 convention has been designed as a “Tasting Menu” of techniques and inspiration, offering many short, rich learning experiences across a wide range of styles and approaches. There will be plenty of time to connect, and if you’d like a “full portion” of any technique you discover, you’re encouraged to follow up with the tutors or your area representatives.
