We usually begin with a 15-30 minute mini-demonstration by a member on some aspect of pastel art.
Visitors, friends and guests are welcome. Meetings are in Open Studio format with no formal tuition (but with lots of advice!) which allows artists to exhibit any work produced.

Nelson
Meets every Tuesday 9am-Noon Feb-Nov at the Tasman Bible Church on the old Coastal Highway (our regular hall is being renovated). New members always welcome.
Our motto is "try before you buy" so come and try out pastel as a painting medium and get some free help and advice from attending members. Then, if you are still keen you can purchase your own materials and become a member of our friendly, very active group of artists.
